Person being surveyed always in sight but doesn't know when they are being watched
Needs a visible reminder that they are being monitored but can never know if they are being monitored or not.
Backlit - Means whoever is in the cell is illuminated, visible light airy places
Power is a relationship -

Self Regulate - you control yourself when you have the idea that you are always being watched and monitored.
Speed Cameras - The warnings before telling you they are there that make you slow down, rather than not telling you and you getting a fine.
Open Plan Offices - Open spaces mean you feel as if you are being monitored and watched.
House of Commons - Being filmed, constantly have to think about what they say because of the voters watching.
